Responsibilities
  • Assist Loan Originators in developing and executing effective marketing plans to meet or exceed mortgage loan production goals.
  • Market, service, and promote the bank's mortgage products, including the solicitation of residential first mortgages through contacts with Realtors, builders, developers, closing agents, and other referral sources.
  • Interview potential borrowers applying for residential mortgage loans to understand their needs.
  • Outline loan terms and conditions, and inform prospective borrowers of loan commitment.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for entering loan applications into the Loan Operating System (LOS), ordering credit reports, and uploading to the Automated Underwriting System (AUS) on behalf of the Loan Originator. Additionally, they will collect critical documents from the borrower and submit loan applications for processing and underwriting approval.
