Overview:
This role is a contract opportunity for a Structural Engineer, focusing on the design and analysis of industrial structures. The position requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently while receiving guidance on complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and analyze heavy, multi-story industrial buildings with a focus on structural steel.
2. Conduct foundation analysis and design for equipment and buildings.
3. Develop designs for pipe bridges and equipment supports.
4. Create detailed structural connection designs, ranging from standard to complex.
5. Engage in new construction and retrofitting of existing structures.
6. Perform structural inspections and oversee repairs for concrete and steel.
7. Design piles and drilled shafts, as well as storage tanks.
8. Investigate corrosion issues affecting structures.
9. Plan and coordinate detailed phases of engineering work within projects of moderate scope.
10. Address conventional engineering practices while navigating complex design challenges.

Expectations:
Collaboration with Project Managers is essential. The engineer will coordinate design development with CAD Operators to ensure the production of accurate construction drawings. The role demands effective and efficient design solutions.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional engineering experience in relevant sectors such as biodiesel, ethanol, or chemical processing.
- Familiarity with the RISA suite of programs is advantageous, alongside proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Candidates should possess a BS Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering with a structural focus, or related fields.

Preferred Licensures:
- Professional Engineering Registration (PE)
- Structural Engineering Registration (SE)
