The primary objective of this role is to meticulously assess documentation and billing for Interventional Radiology procedures, ensuring precision and thoroughness.
The secondary objective involves capturing high-quality images that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary Duties:
- Ensure comprehensive documentation within the Surginet/RIS/Q Sight systems.
- Identify and rectify any inaccuracies in the patient's electronic medical records.
- Adjust supply charges and case levels as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date pick lists and preference cards.
- Keep accurate daily logs of charge adjustments.
- Ensure inventory and stock levels in Q Sight are current.
Secondary Duties:
- Verify patient identity and review physician orders for consistency with clinical diagnoses and demographic data.
- Document relevant patient information consistently.
- Evaluate patient conditions, ensuring safety through appropriate support and transport techniques.
- Gather and assess all necessary patient information prior to procedures, including lab work and consent.
- Review examinations for technical accuracy, ensuring all necessary anatomy is included.
- Communicate essential information to patients or responsible parties.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals during procedures, adhering to sterile techniques.
- Administer contrast media as per departmental protocols.
- Explain procedures to patients, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Complete necessary documentation for each examination and accurately scan paperwork into the RIS system.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Education:
ARRT Certification and Ohio Department of Health License.
Minimum Experience:
Preferred one year of relevant experience.
