Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. As a Nuclear Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including gamma cameras and PET scanners
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments
Requirements
  • BLS certification required
  • PALS certificate required for RNs in ED
  • ACLS certification required for RNs in specified departments
  • License/Certificate verification must be online and dated within 30 days of start
  • NRP certification required for RNs in Birth Center
  • TNCC certification required
  • Fit Test required
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccine required or exemption with agency letterhead
  • MMR vaccination or primary source IgG titer required
  • Hepatitis B series vaccinations required
  • Influenza Vaccine - proof of vaccine, declination or exemption required
  • Varicella vaccination or primary source IgG titer required
  • Tdap vaccination required, proof dated after 2005
  • Physical/Health Statement from within last year
Additional Requirements
  • American Heart Association certification is required for all direct patient care personnel.
  • Certificate is required for RNs in ED. Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certificate is also acceptable.
  • American Heart Association certification is required for RNs in CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, SICU.
  • Must have online verification of license/certification within 30 days of start.
  • Must have fit test completed prior to start.
  • Certificate is required for RNs in Birth Center.
  • Proof of vaccine or exemption required for contractors; declination not accepted for CA or IL.
  • Holy Cross specific Job Description must be signed and on file for all candidates engaged as a Registered Nurse.
