Job Title: Dialysis Nurse

Job Summary:
Porter Hospital is seeking a skilled Dialysis Nurse to join our team in the Dialysis Unit. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of dialysis treatments.

Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-dialysis patient assessments, including vital signs and vascular access evaluation
Review patient records and physician orders for dialysis patients
Administer routine medications and verify patient adherence to prescribed medications
Monitor patient reactions to treatment and perform dialysis machine maintenance
Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to the development of the dialysis unit's QAPI plan

Requirements:
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
2-year minimum acute hemodialysis experience preferred
Associates Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
