About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Matrix Design Group, Inc. in Tamuning, Guam. As an employee-owned company, we value diversity, respect, and excellence in our work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design land development projects for residential, commercial, and municipal development.
  • Investigate criteria, prepare, and process construction plans for approval within multiple jurisdictions.
  • Prepare detailed grading, roadway, water, and sewer plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Complete hydrology and hydraulic analysis, drainage reports, and storm drain design including detention and water quality facilities.
  • Prepare supporting calculations, construction specs, and permitting in various jurisdictions.
  • Work within defined scope, schedule, and budget parameters.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and team members regarding questions, concerns, progress, and results.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited program in civil engineering.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate, with the ability to sit for the Professional Engineer Exam within 1 year.
  • Experience writing drainage reports and performing roadway and utility design in Civil 3D is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license, with a successful background check.
