Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Echo Imaging Technician to join our team at Augusta Health. This role is essential in providing high-quality echocardiographic services to our patients.

Certification Requirements

• Must possess either ARDMS RDCS or CCI RDS certification.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct echocardiograms including stress echos and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs).
• Utilize EMR systems, preferably Meditech.
• Manage an average daily patient census of 8-10.
• Work in a Monday to Friday schedule with on-call duties approximately once every 4-5 weeks.

Technical Skills

The ideal candidate will have expertise in:

• 3-D Echo
• Bubble Studies
• Imaging with Contrast Agents
• M-Mode Techniques
• Pharmacologic Stress Echo
• Portable Studies
• Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT) and Outflow Tract (RVOT)
• Routine Echocardiography
• Treadmill Stress Echo

Equipment Proficiency

Experience with GE and Philips echocardiography equipment is preferred.

Professional Skills

Ability to perform procedures in critical care settings, including:

• 12 lead EKG
• Isolation Precautions

Additional Information

All candidates must be willing to travel within a 50-mile radius as local travelers are not accepted.
