Position Overview

A Senior Auditor at SF Staffing Solutions is responsible for overseeing a team of 2 to 4 staff auditors during various audit engagements. This role involves:
  • Assigning specific roles to staff auditors and establishing timelines for task completion while clearly communicating key objectives and goals.
  • Providing coaching and mentorship to enhance the competencies of staff auditors.
  • Collaborating with Business Unit Management to ensure alignment with audit project objectives.
  • Participating in the planning and execution of audits from inception to conclusion, including a thorough review of staff work papers.
  • Effectively liaising with Controllers and process owners regarding scheduling, questionnaires, and observations related to the audit process.
  • Preparing both oral and written presentations of the audit plan and findings for senior management.
  • Analyzing complex situations that may involve interpreting unusual or conflicting information.
  • Managing multiple tasks with varying priorities and setting appropriate priorities accordingly.
  • Utilizing analytical skills to understand and trend audit reports and financial statements.

Development Opportunities

As a Senior Auditor, you will have the chance to:

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related Finance field with a minimum GPA of 3.3.

Experience:
At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or auditing is required. Experience with a Big 4 firm is highly preferred. Staff auditors should have a minimum of 1 year of accounting or auditing experience.

Special Requirements:
CPA, MBA, or Chartered Accountant designation is preferred, or the ability to complete CPA certification within 2 years.

Travel Requirements:
This position typically involves 8-10 days of travel per month, primarily domestic, with some international travel opportunities. Team members may choose to extend their stay in certain destinations over weekends, utilizing meal and lodging per-diem in accordance with company policy.
