Job Summary

Webber is seeking a skilled Bulldozer Operator to join our team at PLW Waterworks. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for operating a bulldozer safely and efficiently to cut ditches, slopes, grades, clear brush, shape, and dress slopes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate bulldozer to perform earthmoving activities, including cutting ditches, slopes, and grades, and clearing brush.
  2. Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate machines.
  3. Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate loading of dirt, rocks, and other materials.
  4. Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions, such as utility lines, equipment, workers, and falling objects.
  5. Perform maintenance procedures on equipment, including oiling, greasing, and other services.
  6. Troubleshoot and make adjustments to equipment.
Requirements
  1. High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
  2. Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communications.
  3. Ability to move throughout a construction jobsite, including minor obstacles, such as climbing ladders and inclines, operating heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  4. Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily productive/technical nature.
  5. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers and perceive attributes of objects and materials.
  6. Work outdoors with exposure to changing weather conditions, such as rain, sun, snow, and wind.
