Behavior Therapist

Northeast Family Services is seeking a skilled Behavior Technician to provide high-quality support to clients with developmental disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth, or families, and possess strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.

The Behavior Technician will be responsible for implementing clients' behavior support plans, providing ABA-based instruction, and monitoring client behavior. They will work collaboratively with supervising BCBA and client's family to support meaningful changes in client behavior.

Key qualifications include:

• A high school diploma or GED and 24 months of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth, or families
• OR an associate's degree or higher in a human, social, or educational services discipline, or a degree or certification related to behavior management from an accredited community college or educational institution and 12 months experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth, or families
• OR certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and 12 months experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth, or families

Compensation:

• $20-$27/hour depending upon experience
• Competitive Fee For Service Rates
