Position Overview

Alcoeur Gardens is seeking dedicated caregivers to support residents experiencing memory challenges, including Alzheimer's and various forms of dementia. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about providing quality care in a warm and inviting environment.

Available Shifts:

7 AM - 3 PM, 3 PM - 11 PM, and 11 PM - 7 AM

Our facility prides itself on maintaining a clean, home-like atmosphere, free from the use of hoyer lifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver basic care under the supervision of nursing personnel.
  2. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  3. Cooking skills are preferred to assist with meal preparation.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold certification as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state regulations.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary for providing exceptional care.
  • Exhibit teamwork and collaboration as a supportive team member.
  • Possess patience, tact, a positive attitude, and enthusiasm, particularly when working with the elderly population.
