Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor to join our team at the Arizona Department of Economic Security. As a key member of our Rehabilitation Services Administration, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with disabilities achieve employment and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide vocational counseling and guidance to individuals with disabilities
- Assess barriers to employment and develop strategies to overcome them
- Collaborate with clients, service providers, and community resources to achieve employment goals
- Manage fiscal resources and ensure efficient use of services
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a field related to rehabilitation counseling or a closely related field
- At least two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Strong knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to vocational rehabilitation services
