Network Operations Center Technician

TEKsystems is seeking a skilled Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician to support a long-term network deployment initiative with a Fortune 500 integrator and a high-profile end client in Arizona.
The ideal candidate will have recent experience in an enterprise NOC, supporting a Cisco-centric network. Familiarity with troubleshooting LAN/WAN, VoIP, and Wireless networks is essential. CCNA certification is a plus.
This is a fast-paced project working for a Fortune 500 integrator while supporting a high-profile client, the State of Arizona. The successful candidate will be directly involved in upgrading the infrastructure of our State, bringing Arizona to the next generation of network capabilities and network security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the ticket queue and Solarwinds monitoring platform
- Respond to incoming email and phone calls
- Troubleshoot network elements like routers and switches and wireless access points
- Escalate network service issues to Service Provider
- Stage and configure hardware for deployment
- Educate clients on network operations and best practices
Requirements:
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in support of enterprise Cisco environments (LAN/WAN/VOIP/Wireless)
- Familiarity with Telecom/IT Network Deployments (either technical or function role)
- Knowledge of Meraki Wireless platform is a plus
