Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Controls Engineer to join our team at Ben Aris LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex control systems for our refinery operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and maintain DCS systems, including TDC 3000 and Foxboro I/A.
  • Perform routine hardware and software maintenance of Foxboro I/A and Honeywell DCS systems.
  • Provide start-up assistance and control modifications of Foxboro and Honeywell DCS systems.
  • Develop and implement process control schemes and control techniques.
  • Design control systems for all types of refinery equipment and processes.
  • Tune existing process controllers.
  • Develop and review control logic on PLCs.
  • Perform economic evaluations on project scoping and lookback efforts.
  • Develop scope for control and advanced process control projects.
  • Develop and implement advanced DCS calculations and programs.
  • Maintain and optimize advanced process control programs.
  • Assist process engineers in unit troubleshooting.
  • Manage DCS and Advanced Control contractors.
  • Develop and maintain Control Systems implementations and maintenance procedures.
Requirements
  • B.S. Degree or higher in Engineering required (Chemical Engineering preferred).
  • 5 years of process control/advanced process control field experience required.
  • Years experience in a refinery or chemical plant.
  • Process engineering experience preferred.
