Emerald Health Services is seeking a Travel - Angiography Technologist (IR)

Shift: Days / 8a-6:30p, 10x4, 40 hours per week

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, with no weekend shifts. Days off may rotate, and there may be occasional on-call duties and shift floating.

Responsibilities:
As an Angiography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing and assisting with routine and specialized diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures. You will work under general supervision, following established protocols to aid physicians in diagnosing and treating various conditions.

Key duties include:
  • Maintaining operational flow and maximizing patient throughput.
  • Assisting physicians during procedures, including scrubbing in and circulating within the procedure room.
  • Preparing necessary equipment and positioning patients accurately.
  • Selecting appropriate radiation exposure parameters and imaging patients.
  • Ensuring a high level of accuracy while adhering to radiation and patient safety standards.

Qualifications:
  • Valid California License
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an outpatient angiography setting
  • Fluoroscopy Permit required
  • Current CRT and ARRT certifications
  • BLS certification
  • Preferred: ARRT Advanced Certification, Level I Trauma experience, Teaching Hospital experience, and proficiency in trauma, stroke, neuro, and CT procedures.

This position is part of a bargaining unit.
