Job Responsibilities:

The Senior Cloud Operations Engineer will utilize advanced technical expertise to design, build, configure, deploy, and maintain AMN's public cloud infrastructure. This includes:
  • Managing computing environments in Azure and AWS, ensuring compatibility with all server operating systems, networking, directory services, and backup solutions.
  • Applying analytical skills to evaluate, select, design, configure, and maintain application platforms hosted in Azure and AWS.
  • Continuously improving processes and establishing enterprise governance to meet business, security, cost, and agility requirements.

Key Duties:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain a cloud computing environment to support organizational needs.
  • Establish technical mastery as a primary subject matter expert (SME) for assigned systems and functions.
  • Develop and automate processes to enhance IT and business operations.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the reliable operation of software and systems.
  • Monitor system performance and resolve issues proactively.
  • Conduct capacity planning and maintain efficient infrastructure management procedures.
  • Lead technical projects and create system design models to guide development teams.
  • Implement backup and recovery processes in line with disaster recovery strategies.

Qualifications:
  • IT-related degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience in designing and automating solutions using Azure cloud technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of public cloud methodologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Experience with disaster recovery and high availability solutions.
  • Proficiency in automation using languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Terraform.
