Job Title: Police Corporal

About the Role:

The City of Georgetown is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Police Corporal to join our team. As a Police Corporal, you will be responsible for providing law enforcement services to the community, enforcing laws and regulations, and maintaining public safety.

Responsibilities:

* Attain and maintain current certifications and complete the required probationary period
* Meet the eligibility requirements for Police Officer III, including three years of experience as a police officer or equivalent service time with another law enforcement agency
* Maintain a clean disciplinary record, with no written disciplinary actions, disciplinary suspension, or involuntary demotion within the past 12 months

Requirements:

* Vocational School Diploma supplemented by a minimum of five years of experience in a job-related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
* Valid South Carolina Driver's License
* Ability to use a firearm
