DispatchHealth is seeking a skilled Field-Based Medical Technician to join our team. As a Medical Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting patient care by assisting with physical exams, point-of-care testing, treatments, and data gathering.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with physical exams and point-of-care testing
- Support treatments and data gathering
- Communicate with healthcare providers via messaging, video conference, and mobile device
- Obtain patient vital signs and assist in collecting patient data
- Facilitate physical exams using a mobile device and conduct diagnostic tests and treatments as requested by the virtual provider
- EMT certification with NREMT, or EMT-B (per state requirements) in good standing, OR Paramedic OR Medical Assistant
- Minimum one (1) year patient-facing experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- BLS, American Heart Association
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily while carrying equipment
