Pipeline Trainee Technician

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is a leading North American provider of midstream energy services. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pipeline Trainee Technician.

Responsibilities:
  • Undergo orientation and training at a designated location within the company for a period of 9-24 months.
  • Maintain and repair pumps, motors, and valves.
  • Perform regulatory inspections and other duties assigned by the supervisor.
  • Launch and receive cleaning pigs and assist with the launch and receiving of smart pigs.
  • Write permits for field engineering and capital projects.
  • Stay knowledgeable of environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Meet requirements of the Company Operator Qualification Program and perform identified covered tasks.
  • Attend training programs and safety meetings as required.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
  • A VoTech certificate or Associate's degree, or related work experience is required.
  • Knowledge of the general design and operation of a liquid or gas pipeline is necessary.
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience with troubleshooting capability is preferred.
