About the Role

As a Freight Delivery Specialist with Penske Logistics, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate company trucks to transport freight to various locations within the designated area
  • Couple and uncouple trailers as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and communicate any issues or concerns to management
  • Collaborate with dispatchers to ensure smooth delivery operations

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class A license required
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Frequent travel within the designated area
