Mechanic II

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic II - 3rd Shift to join our team at The Estée Lauder Companies. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and processes.

• Preventative Maintenance: Assist in the completion of all PM's attached to the resource, document the entire PM process, and assist in the taking apart and putting back together of the resource.
• Order Parts: Order parts as needed to ensure minimal downtime.
• Communicate Issues: Communicate any issues or concerns to the team in a timely and effective manner.
• Follow Up and Prioritize Needs: Follow up on tasks and prioritize needs to ensure efficient use of time.
• Running the Resource: Setup the resource for efficient run and complete all start-up activities, including setup sheets, taking weights, and fills.
• Complete Documentation: Complete all documentation in support of the job, including close-out activities.
• Hand Off a Well-Running Line: Hand off a well-running line that meets all production and quality requirements.

• Understand and Communicate Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Goals: Understand and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly goals during shift crossover.
• Meet Material Variance Standards: Meet material variance standards, including scrap and rejects.
• Meet QA Standards: Meet QA standards, including deviations and investigations.
• Support Continuous Improvement: Support Continuous Improvement needs and identify improvement projects on line(s).

• Troubleshoot the Resource: Troubleshoot the resource, including proactively identifying and fixing issues, problem-solving effectively, and sustaining learnings.
• Provide Basic Training: Provide basic training skills for resource type capability, including technical skill and soft skill capability.

• Proactively Identify and Resolve Safety Concerns: Proactively identify and resolve safety concerns.
• Observe and Conform to EH&S Guidelines: Observe and conform to all corporate EH&S guidelines and procedures.
• Participate in BBS: Actively participate in BBS.
• Follow PPE Guidelines: Follow all PPE guidelines as per site regulations.
• Maintain a Clean Work Environment: Maintain a clean work environment on the production floor and within the maintenance shop.

• Ability to Read and Write in English: Ability to read and write in the English language.

• Ability to Lift 50 Pounds: Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
