Tufts University is seeking a Biomedical Engineering Lecturer to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and coordinating lab sections, as well as teaching lecture courses in biomedical engineering.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and coordinate lab sections of biomedical engineering courses
- Teach lecture courses in biomedical engineering, including biomaterials and regenerative medicine, molecular biotechnology, and biomedical concepts
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of undergraduate students
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students
- Participate in departmental and university-wide initiatives to promote excellence in teaching and research
- Doctoral degree in biomedical engineering or a closely related field (preferred)
- Experience in teaching and mentoring undergraduate students
- Strong commitment to teaching and student success
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
