About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Mill Creek Residential. In this role, you will play a critical part in the planning and execution of various residential and mixed-use projects.

About the Job:

  • You will support the Project Management Team with the planning and daily execution of construction projects, including maintaining project schedules, processing subcontractor requests for information (RFIs), and supplying project submittals.
  • You will assist in preparing, updating, and distributing various forms of project meeting agendas, minutes, logs, and monthly reports as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining certain aspects of the project schedule as assigned by the Project Manager.
  • Supporting the process of subcontractor contract compliance related to the timely supply of information and materials.
  • Assisting in the preparation, updating, and distribution of project meeting agendas, minutes, logs, and monthly reports.

Preconstruction Services:

  • Logging, controlling, and distributing contract drawings.
  • Setting up the job management system.
  • Preparing subcontractor scopes of work, bid package development, and distribution, as well as identifying and soliciting subcontractors and suppliers.

Project Start-up, Construction, and Close-out:

  • Developing and implementing site utilization plans.
  • Reviewing and coordinating project safety and loss prevention and quality control programs.
  • Holding pre-work subcontractor orientation meetings and organizing documentation for each subcontractor.

Requirements:

  • An associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of project engineer experience or other construction-related trade experience is desirable.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 per year based on location and experience.
