We are seeking a skilled Plastic Fabricator/Welder to join our team at Miller Plastic Products, Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding plastic components with precision and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to plan layouts and procedures.
- Set up components for welding according to specifications and drawings.
- Align components using jigs, clamps, calipers, rulers, and other devices.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Process job paperwork/job packets.
- Operate forklifts to transport and move jobs.
- Cut and assemble components, tack, and weld.
- Manage and execute jobs with minimal supervision, from blueprint to finished product.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong basic math and measuring skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints/drawings.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team player with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Mechanical abilities and experience with general power tools and equipment.
- Motivation to learn and advance in your role.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to work overtime (rarely required).
