Job Summary

Centerpoint Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse RN for our Operating Room OR department. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

  • Provide top-notch patient care in a fast-paced OR environment, utilizing critical thinking and technical skills to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices, advancements in technology, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes, efficient workflows, and a safe working environment.
  • Assume individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care, adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from a school of nursing required.
  • Current Missouri RN license or Multistate RN License from a participating compact state required.
  • BCLS required.
  • CNOR preferred.
  • Minimum 1-year Operating Room experience, with strong trauma, ortho, neuro, and Davinci skills or willingness to attend a StaRN + cohort.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
