Overview:

We are in search of a highly experienced Senior Solutions Architect to become a vital member of our team at Vizient. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver architectural direction and ownership for large-scale initiatives, working alongside cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Enhance developer communities and guilds. Advocate for platforms and stacks through demonstrations and presentations. Strive for the widespread adoption of solutions among stakeholders.
  • Remain informed about emerging technological advancements and evaluate their potential to create business opportunities at Vizient.
  • Provide expertise and guidance to internal teams regarding architecture, technology strategy, and best practices.
  • Tackle unique and complex challenges that significantly impact the business, utilizing your profound understanding of enterprise architecture.
  • Develop frameworks and methodologies that enhance overall quality and efficiency for the team and Vizient as a whole.
  • Lead architecture and design discussions at both the product line and program levels.
  • Act as a recognized authority within the technology organization, contributing to the advancement of technology and innovation at Vizient.
  • Collaborate across team boundaries to ensure platform alignment, reusability, and standardization.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred. A Master's degree is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the design and architecture of complex enterprise systems is essential.
  • A strong background in designing and implementing scalable solutions that utilize Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs) is necessary.
  • Demonstrated experience in data engineering and application architecture, with the capability to manage large datasets to drive business innovation and efficiency.
  • A proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Hands-on experience in creating visualizations for both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF or similar), with an emphasis on Data, Application, Technology, and Business architecture. Certification is preferred.
  • Proficient in applying Generative AI patterns for developing efficient solutions.
  • Possess a solid understanding of business strategy, product strategy, and business development principles.
  • Preferred candidates will have experience and knowledge of healthcare data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex issues and devise innovative solutions.
  • Excellent presentation abilities.
  • Exceptional leadership qualities, with the capacity to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and familiarity with cloud architecture patterns.
