About the Role

We are seeking a skilled School Bus Driver to join our team at First Student. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the safety and security of students on board, including assisting with boarding and exiting the bus.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and efficient transportation experience.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Subject to a drug screen and physical.
  • Subject to DOT drug testing.
What We Offer
  • $27.50/HR Starting Wage.
  • $2,500 Sign-on Bonus*.
