**Job Title:** Maintenance Equipment Coordinator 3rd Shift

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Equipment Coordinator to join our team at JBS USA Holdings, Inc. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills to supervise and coordinate activities of skilled trade workers engaged in maintaining and repairing equipment, structures, utility systems, buildings, and grounds.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs and procedures for plant equipment
  • Maintain production equipment in a manner that meets organization standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime
  • Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies
  • Supervise and perform the repair of plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment
  • Inspect completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards
  • Supervise mechanics in charge of maintaining and repairing building utility systems such as electrical wiring and controls, heating, and ventilating systems
  • Administer training programs to ensure proper operations, preventive maintenance, and repair equipment programs and procedures
  • Supervise mechanics who maintain, repair and service plant equipment, buildings, and facilities
  • Prepare work schedules and work assignments for subordinates' maintenance mechanics
  • Direct workers engaged in major painting projects, performing structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings
  • Interpret and enforce company policies and practices to employees
  • Analyze and resolve work problems or assists employees in solving work problems
  • Work on projects involving the construction of new buildings and facilities and the alteration or modification of existing ones
  • May direct workers engaged in ground maintenance activities such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, raking and disposing of leaves and refuse, and snow removal
  • May supervise custodial services

Working Conditions:

This position requires a large amount of walking, stair climbing, and may be exposed to noise and varying temperature levels depending on the area of the plant tasks are located.

The employee will typically work 50-55 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with some Saturday work if necessary.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial or related field
  • Understanding of plant equipment and maintenance facility functions and management with a minimum of 1 to 3 years of maintenance related experience
  • Experience 1-2 years proven supervisory experience in the food industry, industry-specific experience encouraged
  • Strong program, planning, and evaluation techniques
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and persuasive skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management
  • Bilingual communication is not necessary but must be able to communicate with a translator present
  • Microsoft Office proficient

Compensation and Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary range of $73,000-$99,000 per annum, paid time off, sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays. The company also offers vision, medical, and dental coverage after 60 days of employment, 401(k) matching after one year of service, and participation in the Company's annual bonus plan.
