Job Summary

This position is for a High School Science Teacher with a Composite Science certification, responsible for teaching students in a K-12 public school district. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and a valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students in the core academic subject area assigned.
  • Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
  • Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for the subject and level assigned.
  • Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
