ROLE SUMMARY:
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing first-level technical assistance and support to corporate staff across multiple locations. This entry-level role focuses on the Alabama region, where the specialist will manage incoming requests, assess service needs, and deliver timely technical support to ensure a seamless operational environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver technical assistance for hardware, software, and peripheral issues, ensuring a high level of user satisfaction.
- Respond to inquiries and support requests, troubleshooting issues effectively and efficiently.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new equipment, as well as the management of existing systems.
- Document service requests and resolutions, contributing to the knowledge base for future reference.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve escalated issues and enhance service delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Preferred background in technology with formal training.
- Certification in hardware or Microsoft technologies is advantageous but not mandatory.
Experience:
