Technical Group Leader

We are seeking an experienced Technical Group Leader to oversee our Production Team in the Molding Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our molding machines, maintaining high-quality production standards, and leading a team of technical and production employees.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure all molding machines are running at optimal speeds and producing high-quality parts
- Assist and direct technical and production employees in their daily duties
- Monitor and maintain a safe working environment, completing accident/incident reports as necessary
- Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure all presses are running quality parts
- Enter production data into WEBEFF and implement required disciplinary actions
- Oversee department housekeeping and determine internal and external assistance needs
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and HACCP guidelines
- Ensure all SQF requirements are met
- Lead by example, promoting a culture of safety and quality within the department
- Three to five years of supervisory, quality, and injection molding technical experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups
- Spanish-speaking abilities preferred
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on quality and safety. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly and effectively, and lead by example.
