Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Weekend Option Program team. As a Weekend RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each resident
  • Provide direct care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practices in care delivery

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Indiana
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care or a related field
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of gerontological nursing practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
