ROLE DESCRIPTION
In this capacity, you will take on the responsibilities of a Project Coordinator. Your primary duties will include managing and directing the activities of junior engineers engaged in the planning, design, and execution of flood protection projects. These initiatives may encompass a variety of permanent hydraulic structures such as levees, open channels, culverts, dams, energy dissipaters, debris basins, and other related elements.
The main objective of these projects is to develop comprehensive contract plans and specifications that meet the project’s requirements in the most effective and economical manner. By overseeing the engineering team and ensuring that all project components are well-coordinated, you will be instrumental in the successful delivery of flood protection initiatives.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time position
- Standard work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with a 60-minute lunch break.
- Occasional travel may be required for conferences, training sessions, and off-site meetings.
- Telework: There may be an opportunity for part-time telework, up to 3 days a week. In-office days are designated for specific weekdays. A secure high-speed internet connection is necessary for teleworking.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Experience and Training:
- A minimum of four years of professional civil engineering experience, including three years in a relevant specialty and one year in a supervisory role.
- Must possess a valid Professional Engineer license issued by the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists.
- A valid Class C non-commercial driver's license is required.
- Must meet the Pennsylvania residency requirement.
- Ability to perform essential job functions is necessary.
