Job Summary:The Dexter R-XI Public Schools is seeking a qualified Substitute Nurse to join our team. As a Substitute Nurse, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to students and staff in our schools.
Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to students and staff in our schools
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor and maintain accurate records of student health and medical information
Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement health-related policies and procedures
Requirements:
Valid Nursing License
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Clearance Requirements:
A criminal fingerprint/background clearance must be obtained before a certificate can be issued. You will need to log into MACHS to register for fingerprinting. The 4 digit classified code number is: 2030. The Dexter School District does not reimburse payment for fingerprinting. Fingerprinting clearance may be used for classified purposes at any school district in the state. The Missouri Automated Criminal History Site (MACHS) website is available for registration. You will be required to pay for the services when you register with Identogo. Print your registration document and take it with you to your appointment. It will speed up the fingerprinting process. You must take a photo ID. Identogo locations are available at this time.
