Healthcaredegreesearch is seeking a highly skilled Urologist to join our team of medical professionals. As a Urologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating medical and surgical disorders of the genitourinary system and the renal glands.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnosis and Treatment: Examine patients using equipment such as radiograph (x-ray) machines or fluoroscopes to determine the nature and extent of disorder or injury.
- Patient Care: Direct the work of nurses, residents, or other staff to provide patient care and document or review patients' histories.
- Treatment and Prevention: Treat lower urinary tract dysfunctions using equipment such as diathermy machines, catheters, cystoscopes, or radium emanation tubes, and prescribe or administer antibiotics, antiseptics, or compresses to treat infection or injury.
- Diagnostic Testing: Order and interpret the results of diagnostic tests, such as prostate specific antigen (PSA) screening, to detect prostate cancer.
To be successful as a Urologist at Healthcaredegreesearch, you will need to possess excellent judgment and decision-making skills, as well as strong active listening and writing abilities. You should also have strong reading comprehension and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to identify complex problems and develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
