Job Title: Sales Associate

We are a dynamic and customer-obsessed retail company, committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in promoting a customer-focused sales culture and supporting management in achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales growth by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to customers, recommending merchandise selections or helping to locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, and ensure that visual standards are met.
  • Maintain standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and all other duties as directed by management.
  • Participate in visual directives, including monthly store sets and zone maintenance.
Customer Experience:
  • Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns.
  • Ensure a fast and efficient register experience, remaining current on policies regarding payments, coupon acceptance, returns and exchanges, security practices, and other applicable operations.
  • Reinforce buying decisions at the checkout and achieve add-on goals, including gift card sales.
  • Sign up clients for the reward program.
  • Build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobing.
  • Know current product fit and style assortment offerings in-store and online.
  • Maintain consistent client communication through the utilization of customer books.
Operational Excellence:
  • Support replenishment activities that keep the store full and abundant.
  • Assist with locate fulfillment.
  • Assist with visual directives, including floor sets, window changes, visual presentations, signage placement, etc., as directed.
  • Assist with boutique cleanliness and organization.
Teamwork and Growth:
  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Seek personal developmental opportunities and readily solicit feedback.

This position may be found in multiple brands, and some duties may vary from brand to brand. To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Retail or sales experience preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to communicate with customers, associates, and management.
  • Regular attendance is essential to this position to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives. Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Constant walking/standing (percentage of 8-hour shift).
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (percentage of 8-hour shift).
  • Frequent climbing (percentage of 8-hour shift).

The wage range for this position is $16.30 to $20.50. Successful candidates' wage rates will be determined based on their individual qualifications for the position.
