Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative to enhance our operations. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery.
Work Schedule: The position requires availability from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime. The starting compensation is $22.00 per hour, with a pay range of $22.00 to $24.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various departments to address customer concerns and become adept in proprietary operational systems.
- Engage with customers via phone and in-person to process service requests, including installations and changes in service.
- Complete contract documentation, assess service charges, collect deposits, and manage service discontinuation records.
- Utilize software applications effectively, particularly MS Word and Excel.
- Provide excellent customer service, fostering positive interactions with clients and team members to resolve issues amicably.
- Thrive in a dynamic, high-volume call environment with detailed performance expectations.
- Promote additional services to customers as appropriate.
- Support other operational areas as needed.
Work Environment:
- The role is based in a call center setting, which is clean, well-ventilated, and adequately lit. Each representative has a designated workstation equipped with necessary tools.
- Expect a fast-paced atmosphere with potential noise and repetitive tasks, while maintaining high service standards.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use are common.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service within a high-volume setting.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and email applications is advantageous; typing and 10-key skills are essential.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Capable of analyzing issues and compiling relevant data for reporting.
