Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home Care Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in home care management, with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive business growth and improve client satisfaction
  • Manage scheduling, including client and caregiver matching, and ensure timely and accurate data entry
  • Guarantee necessary communication with clients, families, caregivers, and other stakeholders through regular home visits, meetings, and written documentation
  • Oversee client plans of care, ensuring they are up to date and aligned with organizational standards
  • Anticipate and investigate potential risk management issues, ensuring quality care and client safety
  • Recruit and train new office staff, including caregivers, and improve retention through effective onboarding and communication
  • Manage office schedules, including alerts, time off, and overtime, and ensure compliance with contract requirements
  • Participate in quarterly QA meetings and perform home visits as needed, creating care plans and completing paperwork
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a health or human service-related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of two years of experience in home care management, with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams
  • Ability to interface effectively and professionally with clients and families
  • Knowledge of government contract management and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent decision-making, negotiation, and time management skills
  • Ability to work beyond normal working hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Working Conditions

The Home Care Manager will work approximately 80% in an office and 20% in client homes and the community. Potential hazards include working with emotionally unstable, noncompliant, or aggressive clients and complex family dynamics, driving in inclement weather, second-hand tobacco smoke, aggressive animals, and exposure to contagious diseases.
