Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Flight Paramedic to join our team of air transportation experts. This role requires providing pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care, maintaining thorough patient documentation, and ensuring the safety of patients, crew members, and equipment.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience. We offer competitive starting pay, dependent on qualifications. Additionally, company-paid crew housing while on shift is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for completion and submission of electronic patient care records within specified timeframes.
- Daily base checks, including narcotic counts.
- Providing pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact to relinquishing patient care to accepting medical facilities.
- Maintaining thorough patient documentation and knowledge of psychomotor skills through ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences.
- Compliance with safety standards to ensure the safety of self, medical personnel, patients, and equipment.
Requirements
- Three years' experience in ALS or critical care settings.
- Current EMT-P license/certification in states served by the assigned area.
- NREMT-P certification where required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications prior to flight status.
