Key Responsibilities
  • Task Coordination: Assign and monitor tasks for crew members, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Safety Oversight: Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations, while completing necessary documentation.
  • Construction Management: Supervise the construction, installation, maintenance, and replacement of essential electrical components, including poles, transformers, and related equipment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain various machinery, including bucket trucks and digger derricks, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Inspection Duties: Regularly inspect lines, poles, and equipment for any signs of damage or wear, addressing issues promptly.
  • Emergency Response: Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform necessary repairs on distribution circuits.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Valid driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in power construction.
  • Ability to lift and/or pull up to 25 lbs.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and travel as required.
