We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at IntelyCare in Haddam, CT. As a CNA, you will provide high-quality care to residents in post-acute facilities, working closely with our nursing team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional nursing care to residents, adhering to their individual care plans and reporting any concerns to your supervisor.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, and communicate with the medical team as necessary.
- Support residents with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and medical staff, providing a compassionate and supportive presence.
- Current Connecticut Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and nursing care procedures.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and maintain a safe working environment.
- Effective organizational and communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.
