Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Park Ridge Surgery Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures to promote positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling procedures according to physician preference cards.
  • Test and monitor equipment for proper working condition.
  • Document records and other forms accurately, adhering to approved policies and procedures.
  • Confirm that all individuals in the room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray.
  • Communicate patient status information to other staff responsible for patient care.
  • Perform required maintenance of instruments, supplies, and equipment by adhering to cleaning, care, storage, and calibration procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiology.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • BLS certification is also required.
