Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

Planned Systems International (PSI) is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Hurlburt Field Medical Clinic at Hurlburt Field Air Force Base. As a civilian contractor, you will utilize your expertise to provide exceptional patient care and support the military healthcare system.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Clinical Psychologist to provide a range of services, including patient diagnosis, physical, emotional, mental, and behavioral counseling, and identifying behavioral health trends/issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient diagnosis and develop treatment plans
  • Conduct physical, emotional, mental, and behavioral counseling sessions
  • Identify behavioral health trends/issues and provide command consultation
  • Develop and administer therapy and treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Process patient referral and appointment requests
  • Provide psychoeducation and human performance classes
  • Educate patients on their behavioral health condition and treatment regimen
  • Provide follow-up appointments and monitor patient treatment progress
  • Provide detailed documentation of recommended and/or provided patient care, treatment, and therapy
  • Provide patient status and/or progress to medical personnel, legal authorities, and military commanders, as required
  • Brief behavioral health trends/issues, as required, and recommend action plans to mitigate adverse effects of the identified trends/issues
Requirements:
  • Hold a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Psychology Doctoral (PsyD) degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited psychology program
  • Completed an APA-accredited internship/residency in Clinical Psychology
  • Have a current license to practice Psychology in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
  • Have at least three (3) years post-doctoral experience in the independent practice of Clinical Psychology within the past five (5) years
  • Have a current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Security Clearance: The work requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) Clearance
