Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide guidance and oversight to nursing staff, ensuring that patient care is delivered in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Patient Care: Conduct regular rounds to assess patient condition, develop and implement individualized care plans, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed, monitoring patient responses and reporting any adverse reactions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document patient information, including assessments, care plans, and medication administration, and report any significant changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Texas.
- Experience: Preferably 1+ year of experience in a skilled nursing facility, with a strong background in leadership and patient care.
