CNC Set-Up Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Set-Up Technician to contribute to our team's success at MESCO Manufacturing Group, LLC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines according to job specifications and quality standards.
  • Create and edit CNC programs as needed to ensure efficient production.
  • Perform regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process, applying problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
  • Train and mentor other team members on best practices for CNC machine operation, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

  • Experience with CNC Milling and CNC Turning, with a strong understanding of machine operation and programming.
  • Strong technical skills and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficient in G-code programming language and familiar with CNC machine controls.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed, with a willingness to adapt to changing production demands.
