Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Stock Clerk to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a Stock Clerk, you will be responsible for stocking, rotating, and storing general merchandise and/or food in the club. You will ensure that all merchandise is clearly labeled and fully stocked, and maintain a neat and clean environment of the club by removing all trash and debris from the store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock, rotate, and store general merchandise and/or food in the club.
  • Maintain display signage for all products and create labels and/or apply merchandise sales tags to items.
  • Handle damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the club is neat, clean, and organized by performing general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the club.
  • Maintain all club policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous grocery/stock experience preferred.
  • Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age.

Work Environment

The majority of the time will be spent moving about continuously on hard surfaces. There may be a need to frequently position oneself to examine and/or scan merchandise, including bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping. Continuously requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds. May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance.

Compensation

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $15.50.
