TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team as a travel healthcare professional. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis and treatment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis and treatment
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
- Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and images
Requirements:
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist
- Experience working in a diagnostic imaging setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
