  • Reason for Need: Supplemental Coverage
  • Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8 AM - 5 PM
  • Call Schedule: 1 week per month (if necessary)
  • Call Type: Beeper
  • Call Ratio: 1:4
  • Call Response Time: 20 minutes
  • Practice Composition: 40% Hematology, 60% Oncology
  • Patient Census: 12-15 patients

Patient Demographics:
Adult patients are the primary focus.

Team Composition:
Currently, there are 2 physicians and a support staff of 3-4 registered nurses.

Facility Resources:
  • Onsite Lab and X-ray services

Clinical Responsibilities:
Participation in tumor board meetings is expected.

Technology:
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system: Epic

Additional Information:
  • Collaboration with other Hematologists and Oncologists during coverage
  • Presence of a Radiation Oncologist for support

Hospital Privileges:
Available

Credentialing:
Estimated timeframe for credentialing is approximately 30 days.

Compensation Package:
  • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered

Qualifications:
  • Active California medical license
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of case/activity logs required
