Clinical Director

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Clinical Director to lead our dedicated team of clinicians and support staff at Greater Essex Counseling Services. The Clinical Director will be responsible for overseeing all clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, and promoting a supportive and therapeutic environment for clients with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance to a multidisciplinary team of counselors, therapists, and support staff.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
- Collaborate with the executive team to assess and enhance existing programs and develop new initiatives to meet the evolving needs of clients.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accreditation standards and regulations.
- Engage in active hiring practices for clinical staff.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of clinical documentation to maintain compliance with best practices, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness of clinical services.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), or similar licensure with ACS and CCS required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical leadership roles within substance abuse and co-occurring treatment settings.
- Thorough understanding of evidence-based practices and treatment modalities for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with relevant accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the provision of mental health services.
- Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.
