Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Technician to join our team at Micro Tech Staffing - West Boylston. As a Senior Test Technician, you will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex HVAC, electrical, and refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct high-pot testing and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and refrigeration systems, including commercial refrigeration systems in supermarkets.
  • Documentation: Gather and document data on the performance of products and prototypes.
  • Quality Standards: Establish and maintain standards for product testing and inspection to ensure adherence to overall quality standards.
  • Specifications and Equipment: Develop specifications and requirements for product inspection and testing equipment.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to use feedback for enhancing product testing processes.
  • Mechanical Duties: Perform mechanical tasks including assembly, disassembly, leveling, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical issues on automated equipment.
  • Electrical Duties: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair control systems; experience with multimeters, digital power supplies, and logic analyzers required.
  • New Product Development: Work with new product development teams to establish inspection and test processes for new products.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate degree from a trade program or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant service experience, preferably in an industrial equipment industry.
  • Skills: Proficiency in test equipment (multimeters, digital power supplies, logic analyzers), troubleshooting electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and software issues, and reading schematics of industrial equipment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with HVAC and refrigeration systems, and ability to handle high-pot testing.
